Coffee Pod Recycling Scheme

Does your coffee machine use pods? If so, you can recycle them and raise money for our life-saving work at the same time!

TerraCycle® have partnered with Tassimo® and L'OR® to create a free recycling programme for Tassimo® T-DISCs, outer packaging, L'OR capsules, Kenco Eco Refill packs and coffee jar lids.

The programme is run by a network of volunteers who have set up dedicated collection points at public locations across the country. The volunteers coordinate the collection and send the Tassimo, L'OR and Kenco waste to TerraCycle for recycling raising money for charity in the process. We are so grateful that Adam Hunter has very kindly chosen to give up his own time to organise this scheme and raise funds for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.

So far Adam has sent an incredible 780,891 pods and outer foil packaging for recycling, raising a sensational £7,223 for Air Ambulance KSS in the process.

Clothing Banks

Can you 'Phil the Bag' and support the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance?

Please drop your textiles including clothing, towels, sheets, blankets, curtains and shoes into one of our textile banks.

You can view a list of textile banks here.

L W Sait & Sons have launched a new textile bank initiative to support the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance and we are seeking venues to position them. Can you site a bank in your car park, or do you have a suitable space with vehicular access that will allow members of the public to drop off their unwanted textiles? If so, L W Sait & Sons would like to hear from you! The charity will benefit from the profits of the sale of materials collected. There is good news; it won’t cost you a penny to show your support in this way! To request a bank or for more information, please contact Helena Sait on 01795 424404 or email
