With almost 24,000 people killed or seriously injured on the UK’s roads last year , we’re taking part in Road Safety Week 2021 (15 – 21 November) to raise awareness of the critical role we can all play in helping to make our roads safer for everyone.

Restart A Heart Day

We are marking Restart a Heart Day (16th October) by urging the UK public to get hands on and learn CPR, in light of worrying research that shows that around a third (32%) of UK adults in the South East have never undertaken any form of training to learn essential CPR skills. CPR by gym staff helped save the life of our former patient Graham Martin.
Changes to our Board of Trustees

Our Board of Trustees has elected Barney Burgess as Chair in succession to Dr Helen Bowcock OBE, DL. Professor Andrew Rhodes and Michael Docherty succeed Barney Burgess as joint Vice Chairs. The appointments take effect from December 2021.
