Adrian Oliver - Fundraiser

Adrian Oliver made an inspirational change in his life, losing 7 stone and succesfully completing the Brighton Marathon, raising over £4,000 for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance.

Adrian, from Sittingbourne, was 52 when he was given a reality check by his wife. Working nights as a vehicle technician his weight gradually increased until he weighed over 20 stone.

Around 3 years ago Adrian, who is now a grandfather of four, made a huge lifestyle change, eating at sensible times, cutting down on portion sizes and alcohol as well as keeping active.

After losing an incredible 7 stone, Adrian completed the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 17th April and managed to raise more than £4,000 in support of our life-saving work. Along with all our runners, we are so grateful for Adrian's spectacular sponsorship efforts, and congratulate him for his fantastic achievement and for making such an impressive and significant change in his life.

It is with the inspirational support of people like Adrian that we can continue our life-saving work for the people of Kent, Surrey & Sussex.
