Handbell ringers present largest donation to date

Bognor Regis Handbell Ringers presented Mike Charman, representative of Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, with a cheque for £2,000 which represents the funds raised by the group during 2017.  This is the largest donation the group has ever made and will be used to help finance the Air Ambulance’s life-saving care 24 hours a day.
Pauline Allsopp, Secretary of the Handbell Ringers, said “We are absolutely delighted to be able to provide these funds to support the excellent work of the Air Ambulance, which is available 365 days a year across Kent, Surrey & Sussex.  Our group has been so impressed with the Air Ambulance’s work and organisation that it has agreed to support them for another year.”
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported us throughout 2017 and the members of the group for their ongoing commitment and enthusiasm which has enabled us to give 26 performances during the year.”
